| | | | The price has been set for MorphOS 2.0. The ISOs available for download are limited to July 15th. After that you need a personalized keyfile.
MorphOS 2.0 is released with an introductory offer at 111,11 EUR and is sold at 150 EUR after July 15th.
This price point is in direct competition with Mac OS X. Will MorphOS Team be responsible and give us support for these money?

| | | | The Official MorphOS website was updated today with a message saying; MorphOS 1.5 More Weeks(tm).
No more information is available but it could mean that the next version of MorphOS will come out in mid Februari. But it can also mean, nothing. Be sure that Pegasos.org will continue to bring you the latest MorphOS news!

| | | | 19 Jan 2007 Flash Plugin released for MorphOS
A MorphOS native version of our experimental Flash plugin (version 1.14) for IBrowse 2.4 is now available for free download. Thanks to Harry Sintonen for porting the plugin to MorphOS. The previous release notes for the 68k and OS4 builds apply to the MorphOS build too.

| | | | Libnix has been updated for MorphOS.
* stdio init no longer reads off bounds memory if __stdiowin is set to "" (it's still not valid to do so though (read SAS/C docs)).
* strcoll/xfrm won't pull in libauto/external LocaleBase any more.
* mbstowcs/wcstombs behaves properly when destination is NULL (they are still dummies though, so don't expect widechar to work).
* no more semaphore lockups that could occur in certain situations (thanks to HAK for finding such a situation!).
Libnix can be downloaded from the MorphOS Developer Connection

| | | | A new version of the Just-In-Time Compiler TRANCE has been released. The changes since the previous release are:
* Fixed a bug that would make certain IBrowse CPU versions crash (at least IBrowse 2.3 and 2.4)
* Some SAS/C float/double integer calculation fixes (lsd/asd X flag). For example, the integer version of IBrowse's javascript.library.
* addx/subx with predecrement was fixed. These instructions are very rare, but could be used for some multiprecision math.
* Trancestats has been updated to work properly with the latest MUI versions.
The MorphOS Team wishes everyone Happy Holidays and a Great New Year!
