<title>Roadshow Update released</title>
<link>http://pegasos.org/Article1604.html</link>
<description>Roadshow has been released in version 1.9

The update archiv is available for free on the website of Roadshow.

Changes:

- The names of the configuration files for network interfaces had to be adapted because they were too long (&gt; 15 characters). This applied to files that have been added for MorphOS and Poseidon USB. Long names are now all shorter.
- The names of the network drivers for Poseidon USB have not all been correct and had to be corrected.
- The documentation now goes into more detail how to add a server in &quot;DEVS:Internet/servers&quot; and includes specific examples.
- In &quot;DEVS: Internet / servers&quot; new entries for the use of Samba have been added, and have to be activated after you've installed Samba.

About Roadshow:

Roadshow is an Amiga TCP/IP stack allows you to connect to the Internet, access your e-mail, web pages, chat, etc. It can also help you access and exchange files within your local home network.
Roadshow is one of the fastest, if not the fastest Amiga TCP/IP stack.

<link>http://pegasos.org/Article1599.html</link>
<description>The CygnusED Webpage is online via a new URL - http://www.cygnused.de

CygnusED is currently produced by Olaf Barthel and is one of the most popular text editors for the Amiga.

Albeit slowly, the development of the program is still continuing.

We'd like to get your opinion &amp; thoughts as to what features you'd wish for future versions of CygnusEd.

Please let us know your ideas by writing to us in the support forum of CygnusEd's new webpages so that we can consider supporting them for the program's future releases.

Incidentally, a few days ago the FULL VERSION of the TCP/IP stack ROADSHOW was published which is also developed by Olaf Barthel.

<title>Roadshow Update for MorphOS</title>
<link>http://pegasos.org/Article1598.html</link>
<description>Since today there is an update available, so roadshow can also be used on MorphOS.

Roadshow is much faster than the internal TCP / IP stack for MorphOS.

Please note, that with MorphOS a manual installation of roadshow is required. The supplied installation script will not run under MorphOS. The user should therefore familiar with the operating system.

The manually installed Roadshow is now directly usable and requires no further intervention to boot.

New sample files for the network usage on the Pegasos / Pegasos II, and for Apple hardware are also included.

The update can be downloaded for free on the Support homepage Roadshow.

About Roadshow

Roadshow is an Amiga TCP/IP stack, that allows you to connect to the Internet, to access your e-mail, web pages, chat, etc. It can also be used to access and exchange files within your local home network.

Roadshow is one of the fastest, if not THE fastest Amiga TCP/IP stacks.

Some features include:

- Amigaized configuration utilities rather than the terse and somewhat cryptic Unix legacy tools
- DHCP configuration for Ethernet devices
- &quot;TCP:&quot; device support, for use with, for example, ARexx scripts
- Enhanced &amp; cleaned-up software development kit, that includes the complete source code to all the configuration tools and sample programs

<title>APC&amp;TCP: DigiBoosterPro - DigiRoller 1.1 released</title>
<link>http://pegasos.org/Article1583.html</link>
<description>DigiRoller is a standalone replayer for DigiBooster Pro 2.x and DigiBooster 3 music modules. Version 1.1 contains the latest replayer engine featuring AHI-independent DSP echo effect. It is backward compatible with old echo (&quot;V&quot;, &quot;W&quot;, &quot;X&quot;, &quot;Y&quot; and &quot;Z&quot; commands are fully supported), but the effect is processed inside the engine, so it is always active. Echo in AHI may be safely turned off. Additional feature of the new echo (which will be used in DigiBooster 3) is a new echo mode (command &quot;V2&quot;), where each track can have independent echo parameters.

Another new feature is phase assisted stereo panoraming. Positioning instruments with not only amplitude, but also small phase shifts improves the music experience.

DigiRoller 1.1 includes other improvements in the replayer as well:
working sample offsets (commands &quot;9&quot; and &quot;E7&quot;) and fixes to &quot;B&quot; and &quot;D&quot; commands.
