It was more or less expected, and soon out with a replacement too. The price is quite okey too for the last PegasosII, but I think I'll save the money for next generation PowerPC machine.

And whats happening with Morphos then?
Iwant to see faster Hardware for MorphOS than Pegasos II
it would be nice in future for a real hardware upgrade for Morphos, like Dual PPC etc
ok I know Peg2 are quit good anywy for the moment!!!!! |

[No subject](Score: 1) by Trizt on Nov 05, 2006 - 18:36 (User information | Send a message | There was a question to the end users if they wanted a faster CPU card for the PegasosII, but I haven't heard anything more about it, so I guess there wasn't enough endusers who wanted to speed up their current machines. As both the dual core G4 and G5 uses other chipsets, they won't run the current MorphOS out of the box, only the MorphOS-team can do something about it, but you won't get much info out of them, they hardly talk about MorphOS, so don't have high hopes to get some information out of them. Maybe itix will make a version of UAE that runs MorphOS instead of AmigaOS. |

about it on PPCZone and the prices would be way too high,
maybe 300 EUR. |
