| | | | Some Pegasos users, using their machines dualbooting Linux & MorphOS might have noticed a small problem with networking when using MorphOS after a Linux session.
There is now a small patch released for MorphOS, that solves this problem.
Please find the patch here: Direct Link
Click Read more for further information. The problem in MorphOS occurs only if you are using Linux with Linux kernel 2.6.9 and above. Something in this Linux kernel release was changed, which on Linux shutdown caused the Via Rhine chip becoming into a state which MorphOS cant use.
In practical it do mean you need to unplug the power cord and wait a few second before starting MorphOS after the Linux session. Note again, problem occurs only if you use Linux kernel from 2.6.9 or above.
For using this patch, put this file into Sys:C on your MorphOS system partition, and launch the command before launching the networking software in MorphOS.
A good place might be to issue the command in your user-startup.
